If the place name you want is not in ActiveEarth's list, you can search for it over the internet from within ActiveEarth using the GeoNames.org service.


Finally, if your place name cannot be found, you can manually enter it. If you right-click on the map, ActiveEarth will try to prefill the location, country, and time zone fields for you using the GeoNames.org service.
