Norris Family Industry is a private, home-based family business. It was started by Thaine Norris out of the realization that he is not "Thaine Norris, Software Developer" but rather, "Thaine Norris, Husband, Father, and (incidentally) Software Developer." Presently, the primary product of Norris Family Industry is shareware and custom software for Windows. All of our products are written in C# and XAML using the Windows Presentation Foundation platform.

Since 1990, Thaine Norris has been involved with Windows desktop application and web application development. He has developed diverse products from bible study software and biblical, historical mapping software, to online photo-finishing and stock photography systems, including for six years the world's largest, internet-based digital photography contest. ActiveEarth 3.0 brings all of these areas together into a uniquely useful time tool.

Norris Family Industry partners with other, like-minded, independent businesses to bring high-quality, cutting-edge products to market. Our web development partner is Efishinsea Web Development who created the ActiveEarth web site.
